Usage:

Precipitated Silica is a versatile inorganic chemical which is used for reinforcement of rubbers and plastics, coating and paints, printing inks and cosmetics, anti-blocking of plastic foils, free running and free flow of sticky solid and liquid substances, carrier for pesticides, insecticides, high temperature insulation, stabilizing of beer and silicon rubber. It possesses a high reinforcing potential and imparts to rubber compounds particularly high Shore hardness, tensile strength, tear resistance and abrasion resistance. In order to achieve optimum rubber-technical data the addition of activators like glycols, amines or other alkaline accelerators is necessary.

Storage:

20 kgs in plastic bag; Stored in closed and dry premises protected against exposure to volatile substances; Storage life: one year in normal storing conditions.
